i pulled my tranny today!
and me and my dad opened her up and it was bone dry,but nothing seemed to be broked and everything looked fine,if anything was wrong would i know it by looking at it,becouse i would hate to put it back in and not have it work right!

Cant tell strictly by looking at the filter area, there could be a poblem under the valve body although Id think if there was you would have some debris in the pan. Time to pm PeteK the tranny master here at CF.

the gears can be inspected visualy if they are free of mechanical damage and have an even wear pattern. the brngs are another story without lubrication they are likey to fail quickly if memory serves correct these are roller style brngs. typical roller brngs have tolerances that cant be measure easily (eg without .0001 micrometers and dial indicators)
