i am removing the elec adjustable shocks on my 96.i have seen the article on grandsportregistry.com about wiring in the resistors to keep the service indicator light to come on.
do i have to do that?or can i unplug the computer/module that controls the shocks and be okay?
what are my options to not have a light on constantly?
thanks,
george

When I pulled the fuse to the ride control, I got a pretty constant "SYS" error on the IP, hence the reason I wired in the resistors. With the resistors I never had that issue. Not sure where the feedback loop was, but at the time I didn't feel like troubleshooting when I could solve it with the resistor approach.
Since that time, I've removed all the actuators as well and rather than wire them up, I just removed the SERVICE RIDE CONTROL bulb.
