Air Tube

I'm installing true dual exhaust on my 1990,, What do you do with the Air Tube that originally whent to the main converter. I don't want to remove it or ruin it incase me or the next owner wants to reinstall the stock exhaust. Do you just cap it off ? or make it dump into the new exhaust.

so it has to be plugged ? I haven't taken it off yet, but is it already theaded ? Internally or exteriorly [do I need to plug it with a bolt or cap it with a cap] and what size.

I just want to have everything ready for when I take it to have it installed.
