Ignition Coil ?

Ignition Coil ?
I have a 1990 L98. It has a (D.U.I Street/Strip)Davis Unified Ignition Coil on it, and when I hook up my tach wire it reads like 4K at idle ? Has this ever happened to anyone ? Is this a good coil ?

Here's two possibilities for you.
Nunero Uno... Put the stock coil back in there and see if the tach reads correctly.
If it does, leave the stock coil in as you aren't going to see 1 HP improvement with that DUI coil. The stock coil is also a 'Unified Coil'.
If the tach doesn't read correctly with the stock coil, buy yourself a new tach filter (from..... EckPlace or Mad Vettes) and that should fix it up.

Ya know, if someone knew where the poopdeck you are they 'may' volunteer to help ya out.
What is it with folks being 'scared' (or whatever) to fill out their profiles??????
If the terririowistes are gonna get ya I doubt seriously they'll use THIS forum.

I don't have the stock coil, the DUI came on the car when I bought it. I didn't realize my profile wasn't filled in Thanks.
