Removed my rear wheels off the '91 this morning to go get new tires on them, i dont trust the shop with jacking/removing the rims after the last tire guy jacked up my C3 right on the oil pan
Anyway, found one of the wheel nuts to be cross-threaded on removal, lookes like it was impact wrenched on by the previous owner/shop? And these C4 wheel nut seem soft?
The wheel stud is a little chewed up at the end, want to go buy a die on monday to clean up the thread before i refit the wheels,
Anyone know, off hand, what thread size the studs are?
Cheers

Also, the lug nuts have a 60 degree taper on the seats. The Vette lug nuts have the outside threads for the caps but most mid-size and larger GM cars that have alloy wheels use the same thread size.
Getting a Vette lug nut may run $3 per, but the generic GM metric lug nuts or the parts store versions run less than a buck each.
