Security issue ?

Can anyone help the Security flashing in my 1986 c4 and you wont start. can any one help me?
Even thue the engine is turning and 'firering' it doesnt really start.
I have cheked the key resiststor.

Any sugestions?

i had the same problem... when i reached through the window to open the door... i'm pretty sure all you have to do is open the door with the key then everything should be fine
