Power Steering Hose Question
84'-87' how many have changed their PS Hoses? Did you buy the pre-formed ones or just used universal PS hose cut to length excluding the High Pressure one of course.

You can't use universal hose, the bends are too tight.
Unless you find some Goodyear EZ-coils to put over the hose to bend it into shape. They look like a spring, my local Autozone had them.
Otherwise just get the stock hose, most of the catalogs have it for about $30.

Didn't we just buy universal power steering hoses for my 86?
Or are they only OK to use if you are going to cut the hose and install a filter or an Oil cooler?

No, we bought universal heater hoses.
And some universal PS hose just to put that filter in on the return line to the reservoir.
The hose he's talking about is the 5/8" suction line that feeds the pump from below. The blue one on my car.

I think I better order the pre-bent hose from Ecklers p/n: 32406.
I believe it's the "gear to reservoir" hose?
