Wiper Arm Mis-Alignment

Wiper Arm Mis-Alignment
I'm a new owner of a 94 6 speed Coupe, and drove my new baby home this week from Milwaukee to Nashville, TN.
3 Hours of the trip home was unfortunately in a downpour, so I had to use the wipers.
When we arrived, and upon inspection, I noticed that the driver's side wiper arm where the washer fluid line joins the arm was slightly brushing the lower window and has scratched the glass about 1/2 inch wide by 2.5 inches high.
Any advice on realigning the wiper arm or motor so that it won't rub the window?
