Has anyone installed a TCI line lock? I've got the thing installed by putting the front brake line directly into the solenoid and a line from the solenoid into the master cylinder. The problem is that the lines that attach to the solenoid seem to be loose. The nuts are tightened down all the way but the lines still seem to be able to turn. They don't move in and out, but they will rotate.
Is this going to leak like a seive when I get it back together? Do I need some kind of adapter between the lines and the solenoid? Or am I just fussing about nothing?
That's the difference between metric and standard. I think when I did mine, I bought a Hurst, there was an installation kit that came with it with the proper fittings and plugs for the solenoid and the two tubes were joined before they went into the solenoid. Similar to what's pictured below.
I picked up some adapters today. They aren't the compression type like shown above, they look more like a female brake line fitting on one side and a male thread on the other. Hopefully it will work out just fine.
