Default Advice needed

My plan was to rebuild my engine this spring, but due to a drunk driver my winter car got written off. So I had to go buy a new car not leaving me the money to do the stroker. So for now i'm going to fix the blown head gasket just to be able to drive the car this year.
Is there anything else I should do since i'm in there. I dont mind spending some money, I just can't shell out thousands. I need to replace my injectors, so would it be ok to run 30lb ones in a 350 until i build my 383? The engine has about 250,000kms. Are there any parts I can replace this year and just swap out and use them next year. Or would it be best to repalce everything at the same time? Thanks in advance for the help everyone!

Wait and assemble a coordinated package whan funds permit. A year from now, you will be second guess whether you want to put that one year old stuff back into the new, fresh, engine. Even the injectors will have you chasing fuel pressure and a custom tune, just to make the stocker run.

No need for 30 lbs injectors in your 350. You might want to have your stock injectors cleaned and reconditioned.

I would just fix the head gasket, install new intake and exhaust gaskets and be done with it.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case with the injectors. I just want to drive the car, and don't really want to "waste" money to get it running. What I mean is that I dont want to buy 24lb injectors just to use for a year.

I didnt know you could do that. Would you have to go to a special shop to do that?
