I got a new CD unit for my 93, and it sticks out a bit, and is standard, and comes really close to the unit when in 1,3,5 gear, if I get a short shifter should this solve my problem? something like this one? heres the description
It looks like I have about 4" of clearance from the dash with my B@M with car in 3rd gear. B@M's are very short. I would definetly recommend it or the Hurst for your car.
I have a metal round one from Doug Rippie Motorsports. I think you can use the round ones from Hurst on them. Would be cheaper as mine was around 75 bucks.
