Default door sil interchange

Will the later model carpetted door sils, say from a 91-96 replace the earlier models like on my '87? Mine are faded, ugly, and cracked. I see a lot of folks parting out newer cars. But will they fit and line up with the rest of the stuff. ?

It would be kinda difficult to make this update... You need to change alot more parts than it first appears including the ebrake lever/housing.
Eckler's and Corvette Central sell new ones for the 87...a little pricy but probably cheeper and easier in the end.

The sill carpet is available seperately. They might fit your existing sills.

With some creative trimming this might not look too bad. Use dynamat or something under it to smooth it out, just watch the clearance for the door. With patience and skill it could look fairly nice????

i have an 86 and wrapped my door sills with some matching color material i bought at an upholstery shop for $12. I used some 3m spray glue to adhere it. Came out nice. I posted a pic in my public profile.
