Well, I hope I answered my own question. I ended up buying one from a guy for $60. He said it was used on his LT1 Camaro and set it back to stock before selling the car. The part number matches up with the Hypertech website.

If you've gone to steeper gears in the rear end, the $60 you spent was a bargain, because the Hyper will let you re-calibrate your speedo on the later C4's.
Other than that (and possibly adjusting the radiator fans turn-on temp), they aren't much good for anything.

Nope, no change in gears.....just the K&N with open lid, shorties, and Corsa cat back. I would like to lower the fan temps.....eh, oh well, it's only $60
