Default black smoke?
sometime's when i push the pedel to the floor board , black smoke comes out then quits... spark plugs? unused gas ? im clueless if it did it all the time i think i would be really upset but still i wondering what it could be... thanks

Usually smoke means:
black - excess fuel
white - water or coolant
bluish - oil

Your plugs could tell you so pull one and describe what it looks like. What year Vette? How many miles?
