What year and trans do you have? Have you checked your RPO codes?

Easy general rule - stickshift 44, auto 36 (except 1984, which is all 36)

Default Dana 44 vs 36?

I have a 93 40th Ann Lt-1 auto trans . The rear end is original and still in the vette, vette is still on the ground. I'm at the initial stages of evaluating and making plans for my next winter project..............Golen 396 520 HP LT4, 700R Auto, and Dana 44. Chat Golen is recommending a 3:73 gears. I'm planning on using a 95-96 computer and wiring harness, AFR heads, and Edelbrock LT4 airgap intake. Vette is driven around town, on road trip (2 - Z06, 1 ZR1), and occasional drag strip. Does anyone have any experience on a similar package? Any recommendations?

Yep, I actually talked my wife into this! https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...lies/wink5.gif

I have not checked any codes or looked at any stampings. I will check these tomorrow.

I appreciate everyone's responses, help and recommendations!
Thanks!!
