Turn Signals Takin A Dump

Hey hey. Just got back from over seas and my radio is just about done for... But what I am curious about is that my turn signals intermittently work. I'll turn one on and the side light lights up but the tail lights are just dimmed and solid, they don't flash. Same with both sides. The hazards work some times but other times they don't work either. This has just started happening. I know my bulbs are good so I'm curious if anyone else has had this same type of issue... could it be wiring, computer related, or something else?!

Sounds like the flasher to me. $6.00 or so at Aotozone.

Had the same problem with my 88. It was a bulb out. I changed the flasher too. It's under the dash on the drivers side. It a short square flasher.

It sounds like the flasher can...stock cans are round and located behind the dash on the rhs of the car in the vicinity of the computer.
If you remove the upper dash cover look for a pair of wires with a silver or gold can..a blue and a purple wire goes to it.
