Ok, I am a new guy with a good working cross fire engine. My probblem is this, I have not been able to pass the emissons test. I have looked at the engine and found out that when the engine was rebuilt, all the emission connections wre not put back in place. There is a pipe that goes from one side to the orher and connects to the exhaust ports. How important is it?
It is true that I was never banned, but I became somewhat discouraged after some discipline. I am back now and I'll see how it works out.
Thanks to all that had kind words for me and for all the concerned e-mails. I am fine, and thanks again to all.
RACE ON!!!

Thank you Mike. And thank you to all that have welcomed me back whether in this thread, others threads, by PM, and e-mail. Thanks to all. I read your thread, Mike, and the one that led up to it. I received a lot of e-mails while I was gone. Most to be sure I was OK, but some asking for help. All the e-mails were flattering and welcome. Thanks again to all, and...

I don't know what "pipe" you are referring to. Is it part of the A.I.R. system? If so, it can make a difference, but it can be done without. What else is not connected? What were your test readings against what limits?
