" which distributor shaft diameter do i need? "

hi there guys,
i want to replace my 1991 L98 engine distributor gear which i might add is the standard chev corvette distributor but with the hypertech ignition module/with cap and was wandering please what size diameter shaft i need when buying new gear please?
it will be to suit comp cam hydraulic roller cam!!!

there are three sizes apparently, .427", .491", .500 " which one is it please?

also there are differnt brands some expensive some cheap!
starting range price for a crane cam gear, # 11979 .500", 11990 .491".
these crane cam gears are made out of silicone alloy/bronze, will this be ok to use please with a hydraulic roller cam?

any reccomendations/help and advice please guys!

The dist gear should match the cam gear. If you are buying a new cam, consult with the cam manufacturer for the correct answer.
