Default vortech's new SI trim

Anyone know anything about this?

On Vortech's website they claim they got a V6 Mustang to go 10.86 @ 125+ on this new head unit.

From what I have heard this unit shares a lot of the internal parts with the YSI trim blower. It has the exact same dimensions as an S trim with same diameter inlet and outlet and will flow close to 1200cfm and support up to 800hp, compared to 825 on the T trim.

I don't know why they made this blower perform so close with the T? Almost makes the T obsolete in a way...or are they going to upgrade the T trim?
I think what they really need is a unit that will go between the T and YSI.

yeah, I heard about the si a while back. I heard that it's hugely efficient compared to the s trim and that's where some of the power comes from. Who knows, maybe an updated t trim is up next with 900-1000 hp capability. it'd fit nice into their product lineup.

The v6 in the article is a max effort setup; it's fast but hey there's other fast v6 cars out there.

Got the YSI fired up yet?

yeah, I know there are a lot of fast V6s out there. But a V6 mustang is probably the biggest dog on the face of the planet, and for that car to go 10s got my attention in a hurry.

yeah, mustangs are so overweight now that getting one into the 10's is actually an accomplishment.

I've been traveling so much that I haven't had time to get the ysi project done. My quarter at work ended friday so I should have a bit more time. The car is running; I just need to have the discharge tube fabbed up.
