With a carb, you do not even need that 2 second prime. The float bowls should stay full and the accelerator pump will give a shot of gas to start the car.

Based on the information from the last 2 posts, that's what I'll do. I'll buy a new regulator. The Aeromotive unit I have on the current injection setup is part #13109. In the near future I will put my setup on eBay.

On my 86 I used this regulator and the intank pump Warlboro and hooked up everything but the injection wires and ran 10.57 at 134 mph out of the box
No extra switches and what ever.
Use the KISS principal.
You got it right! I want to run the intank pump on a carbed ingine, & only remove the injection wires.
