Is Lt1 edit the only programmer for changing logged data? I have been thinking of running Datamaster for logging the data. Still unable to get a grasp on this tuning thing. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance , Earl.

Tunercat is another alternative. It doesn't have any logging functions either so you will still need to use Datamaster. I have had both LT1 edit and Tunercat for a long time and while I started initially using LT1 edit, I'm now using Tunercat almost exclusively.

Default LT1 Edit ?

Thanks for the reply, Scott. I take it that you like to use Tunercat as opposed to LT1 edit, may I ask you why this is so. Thanks, Earl.

Tunercat is cheaper and can be used on multiple cars. LT1 edit is VIN specific.

My preference for Tunercat began when I started tuning for SD mode and needed to work the VE tables. Tunercat has better graphing features and made the job a bit easier. Also, Tunercat has many more secondary functions such as A/C load anticipate adjustments, injector flow display (allows you to fix the dash millage calculations when you change the size of the injectors), and various other functions. Also, the upload/download to the pcm is integrated into the main program. I'll always be a supporter of LT1 edit, but Tunercat is working better for me.
