Default Intake for '91 L98

I want the best intake pipe/filter combo for my L98 and right now I'm leaning towards the SLP intake with "power coupler" intake pipe. but the "power coupler" looks like it's made from plastic. Is there any company out there making a hard metal intake pipe for my Corvette? Also, if anyone has any intake suggestions please let me know

Best in terms of what, just looks? If you want a metal one you'll have to make it. Power Coupler is about the best youre going to get, and yes its plastic replacement for the 'accordian' piece.

Filter, well you can go with K&N if you want, then cutting the air lid will help.

None of this stuff helps power.

You could always go the traffic cone route.

i agree 100%.

what you really need is an entirely different intake. the stock plenum, runners, and the horrid manifold was a broken combo the minute your car went off the factory assembly line. i'd go either miniram or super ram.
