If you go with JUST the intake ONLY, it is plumbed for the 9th injector. Once you add the SR runners, there is no place for the 9th injector.
The car might crank a second or two longer, but it will start without having to reporgram the chip for a richer start. Mine has run fine and started fine.
My SR runners do have provisions for the cold start injector, that I have plugged. I guess it depends upon the vintage of the parts in question.
As far as I'm aware, the Accel base does not have any provisions for the csi, but the TPIS base does. I have a TPIS base.
Like the others, I also chose to eliminate the CSI when installing the SR.
I've also increased the fueling during crank to compensate, but this is not absolutely necessary, but may extend cranking time.
With the programming changes, my car will start within 1 second of cranking when cold even at freezing temperatures. I don't know if it will start at -40 F, but that's not a primary concern.
