turn off suddenly

my 1990 l98 corvette turns off ONCE IN A WHILE right after i put it into drive. Today it did, and im not sure y. It use to do it a little more often than it does now, but im puzzled. can anyone explain y, if its bad or it just happens. thanks

Is it associated with an incline? Have the ignition module checked.
