Default Heater Core part 2

I installed the Delco heater core today. It as has to be the most miserable job I have ever done on a car. My recommendation, take your time, use a Delco, have a 1/4 inch socket set along with a finger ratchet, extentions, universal 7mm, good trouble light, and lots of time. Last but most important, Jet-Jock's instructions, they are really good and he is a great guy for sharing them, (thank you again). Now to install the new heat barrier and carpet. Happy Easter, Jack

That job is really a pain. I have found that a 1/4' socket set with extentions is vital. I have done several of these jobs and have found that a flex extention really works well (bought it is a Lowes store as part of a screwdriver kit). One trick that helped was putting a tiny piece of duct tape over the screw holes and screwing the small screws in to hold them in place.
