Vibrating Vette
Another newcomer to the forum - just got my first Vette 9/13. I have wanted one since @ 1956, and it only took me 45 years to succeed!
I have been getting a lot of my newcomer questions answered by following this forum, a really good source of info, and humor. One of the funniest things I ever read was the answer to the poor C5 owner on bleeding his brakes. :D
I have been fighting a vibration problem since my first day on new Goodyear tires. The dealer just replaced them with a complete new set - same story. 4 wheel alignment done - minor corrections, but nothing to cause vibration. Dealer says they sometimes replace several sets of tires before they get a good set :confused: ? Doesn't appear to be a drive shaft problem. Any ideas for my sanity?? I still love my Vette, but vibration kicks in @65 mph and kinda ruins some of the fun!! Thanks
OK, I flunked trying to get this posted to the C4 Tech Forum, but at least it didn't end up in the C5 forums!!! Hmmmmm! :nopity :flag
