does anybody out there have any expierience with Zmax
i was told by a few of you forum members to run seafom through the fuel system to clean out the carbon deposites. so i checked with a local mechanic here in my area and he recomended a product called zmax

www.zmax.com

im always hesitant puting this stuff in my cars unless i know somebody who has actually used the stuff

I woudnt bother with that stuff, just run good ol oil. Seafoam is good stuff too. If you are using the old injectors Id be hesitant to run any heavy cleaners through them.

Its pure snake oil and has been investaged by the Goverment and found to be tainted mineral oil at best. Even Mr. Shelby was on the Z max payroll (shame on Caroll) promising it was in ever Series 1 car that left his factory. Save your money and use a good synthetic. Your Corvette will thank you in the end.

What he said. All those additives are not worth the pain of phuking up your corvette.

I bought the Zmax kit and put it in my "91" Camaro I used to have. I didn't notice any difference. About 6 months later, I received a letter from an attorney representing customers saying that I was part of a lawsuit to the Zmax company for false/misleading advertising.

Later, I received a check in the mail for $36. Now, I only use Mobil 1 5W30 Fully Synthetic.
