Alt. plug replacement
Before I get the engine redone, I need to go back and fix some of the problems I created. The altenator plug accidently got broke while we were putting in the new wires. I want to fix this properly. I can get a new plug pigtail from any GM dealer. Has anyone done this repair? I'm thinking some cutting, soldering, and shrink seals are in order.

Local auto parts store had one when mine broke, they are common areas for damage. Just solder well and use heat shrink tubes, no problems with the repair in the last two years.
