Hello everyone......I have a 1987 convert. that was purchased with a wood grain dash in it already installed. The previous owner also removed the crash pad on the passenger side and replaced it with a woodgrain panel. Well, I have bought all new plastic to return it to stock but...the passenger side flat panel that I bought from mid america does not match the factory plastic. It is almost gloss in color and does not fit as I think it should. Does anyone have any advice or pictures of where to get a nice looking flat panel piece for the passenger side. I have seen a picture of one with the word corvette stamped in it but I cant find it on the internet. Putting the soft crash pad back in is not an option since it did not come with the car and I have no parts for it. Need help...thanks
Those have to be trim to fit correct.... you can sand it and spray with semi-gloss black satin and get the correct color, or as i did mine, cover with leather
hi vinnie....never thought of leather...do you have a picture of it. and did you get the piece from mid america? also did you screw yours in or use two sided tape?

Can't really see it well. but somewhat can: I took the one from MAD and made a template out of carboard for fit, then made the plate out of plex-glass, covered in leather, mounted with 4 black screws countersunk...

hi cool...that is also a great idea. that could really be old school looking if done right.
If you are looking at steering wheels click on the link below. It will show you my interior. I have a Momo. I think Vinnie's is a Grant Steering wheel. Yes they will fit with the telescopic wheel. I replaced mine in my garage. It's no big deal if you have the right tools. Click the link below.
You know when a c4 is done right it is completely bad a**. You two nailed a solid timeless look that really wakes up the vette. I think that the c4 is the best looking vette sine the 68, 69, 70's etc....IMO the c5's and c6's are cool but the c4's look very traditional and sharp. this forum has some really mean rides. I will post pics asap.
