Default Mild 383 Dyno Numbers/Pics

Hello all! I took my 1990 'vert up to Ed at Automotive Technology today to get some final tuning. He picked up 30rwhp and 37rwtq over the initial tune and the drivability is much better. Thanks, Ed!
Anyways, I just wanted to share and tie this into my intake thread ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1674763 ) discussion. As you can see, the power noses off way early because of the restrictive stock TPI set-up. However, the car drives great, so I'm not pissed or anything. It's a mild 383 with Eagle crank, 10ish:1 Sealed Power hyper pistons, cleaned up stock heads and Hooker headers. This is through a A4 with 2.59 gears. Check it out:

Well, I was going to add a pic of the Vette on the dyno, but I have to resize it...

Looks to be in the ballpark of 330ish HP, and 450ish TQ at the crank. I am sure its fun to drive.

Looks like a nice package for power under the curve.

If it were me, before I thought about intakes I would get 3.07's in there.

Yeah. Not bad for a budget-build. I'll bet it would top 300rwhp with a good intake, tho...

3.07s are on the list... However, with all the off-idle torque, it isn't TOO bad.

You should meet me in person...I'm a real jerk! Anyways, I'm always on the lookout for a 3.07 rear, so let me know. I will now return this thread to its regularly scheduled programming...

Miniram.........But you knew I was gonna say that.
If you wanna stay with the TPI manifold, theres some guys over on thirdgen that are getting pretty stupid numbers out of them. They just take a butt load of work. I'm for the "simple way" about things. Miniram and fuhgetaboutit.

Ed. Thanks again. The Vette drives really well now.
Yah, I know you are all about the Miniram...I just wish they weren't so much cash. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a used one, but if I can find a nice ported TPI set-up for a good price, I'm on that as well.
