Default Engine Mount Compatibility

Does anyone know if a 1995 350 longblock our of a pickup can bolt to the mounts on an 1985 corvette? I'm looking at one of the blocks to use to build a stroker motor (yes its my first time, so if I do it you'll see a buncha these threads ). Any help is appreciated!!!

I believe that all small block Chevy engines, from about '57 to the last LTx have the same external layout. If this is, indeed, true then you should be able to drop the later block right in place.

Absolutely! Your truck engine is just a later Gen I block. All physical dimensions are the same. The 1995 will be made for a one piece rear main seal where as the '85 had a two piece, and I expect the '95 will have provisions for a factory roller cam. The truck block may be a 4 bolt main. The '85 wasn't.

The 1955 through 1957, 265 and 283 engines had front engine mounts rather than the side mounts that started in 1958 and ran through all the rest of the Gen I and Gen II production.
