I am experiencing very annoying vibration through the steering wheel when going over any rough or uneven road surface. Makes the car a real pain to drive. Also the car seems to wander around and follow the variations in the road. Is this typical symtoms of worn ball joints/tie rod ends etc.?
Re: Need help with suspension/steering problem (Black1990)
I thought that was what driving a fat tired sports car felt like. I've owned a brand new Mustang and now the Vette and have driven many sportsa cars that all did that. Wide tires and stiff suspension don't like road irregularities. Maybe it's time for that sedan?? :D
Re: Need help with suspension/steering problem (GRX)
I can't believe this could be a normal condition. This is my first Vette but I have driven a 93 Ruby Aniversary with low milage that drove like a dream compared to mine. The shake and vibration through the wheel is real apparent when going over a transition in the road surface like going over a bridge and hitting the front edge where the road changes from blacktop to concrete. What are some of the symtoms you guys have experienced with worn suspension parts?
