Well, I have been having hard start problems, and tracked it down to a leaky injector. When I pulled them out to send them in
for servicing I noticed cracks on 5 of the injectors, all in about the same place. Car is a 94 6 spd.
So my questions are: Is this normal? Are these injectors usable/worth servicing? and if they are not, what is a good replacement?
You can't really see the depth of the cracks in the picture, but you get the idea of where the cracks are.

Ive had terrible problems with 5-0 last few months. About fried a brand new motor because of them. After 3 sets, still got the wrong ones, headers glowed so bad you could literally see right through them and see bits of glowing metal shooting through them the car ran so lean. There goes a friends 5k, worst part is I recommended 5-0 to him.
Harbinger: Suggest you contact Rich Jensen at Cruzinperformance about your injectors. He is very good and reasonable on servicing fuel injectors. You can reach him at rich@cruzinperformance.com.
I am very careful about what I say about Multecs as some forum members get upset with "negative" comments on this subject
PS: Mr Mojo once sent me a note that pictures posted on the fourm should be "resized" to 800x600 pixels so that they will fit on the monitor screen. FYI only!
Multec can't be serviced. You need to replace them. The Fords from summitracing are a good deal. I heard that Accel has a new 24 lb. injector that is supposed to be much better than their yellow injectors.
I got a set of injectors from AJ-USA.com for $235. They were on clearance. They sure helped the vette. They are Accell brand. If they don't have any more on clearance email me and I will see what I can get a set for.
