Default torque converter DGAF

Hello,

there is a TC signed DGAF. The 'A' means 300# straight rate.
Can this torque converter be used in 1991 C4 ?

P/N on this converter should be B-29L. It is not a carbon fiber lining, it is NON/PWM paper lining. Converter for the Vette application I believe is carbon fiber not paper lining.

D = 1984 and up 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E
G = K factor of 100 or ~ 1400rpm stall
A = ??
F = 3 lug square rear cover

Yes, that's the problem. I've seen a sticker on a stock converter that was signed DGCF. "C" means carbon in transtar's listing.

But converters with carbon are only listed for 4L60E.

i think a paper clutch would be fine for a 91. i dont think the carbon clutched converters for PWM use came along until 95-96?
