HAL Shocks???
Anyone using HAL shocks? How are they for sport / performance and ride quality. Also, need part numbers for a 91 C-4...

Re: HAL Shocks??? (BlackRocket)
I've got the Hals on the front of mine and they are great but what I like most is there driveability on the street. On the stiff setting the car rides super. At the track I get full body lift. They are well worth the money.
I don't remember the PT # but I got them from JEGS and they were listed for An '81 or so camaro.

Re: HAL Shocks??? (mackeyred96)
Find that part number, John!
I'd like to replace the F45 shocks in my '96 with a set of HAL's, at least for the front. F45 may be cool technology and all that, but IMHO I'd much rather have Z51 or even the base suspension to work from.

Thanks for the part #'s. I'll check 'em out.
Are these adjustable ON the car or must you remove 'em, first?

Happy with the HAL's in the front on my '94. Turn the **** to 0 at the track and 4-5 when I drive home. They are adjustable on the car.

Yeah...but you couldn't use the FX3 option and it would trigger some codes.......

That's awesome, I'd hate to get those shocks you have to take out to adjust, are those the Koni's?

Do mine all the time.
You can get these things so
stiff you wouldn't want to drive'em on the street. GREAT for autocrossing though!
Koni's are the ones I sent back since the adjuster is hidden when it's on the car That's pure :bs
