And yes the ECM, via the O2 sensor readiings will lean out to the correct A/F in closed loop mode.
My AFPR is set to give a FP of about 48psi with the vac line disconnected which is what it delivers at WOT. Recent dyno pulls (at WOT) showed that the A/F ratio at WOT was around 12.6-12.8:1 which is tuned just about optimum. Meanwhile exended highway mileage shows around 31-32mpg which means that, at part throttle, the ECM has corrected for the increased fuel flow.
BOttom line is that with your mods you likely could benefit from using an AFPR to tune your WOT performance. Of course this means you need some sort of "dyno", like a dyno pull, a g-tech or drag strip time slips to record changes in HP as you vary fuel pressure.
