Default ** Help with tire size question **

I have a question in regards to tire size on a 95 coupe. Currently it has the 17x8.5 frt and 17x9.5 rear. I will be changing over to all 17x9.5 at all 4 corners and was wondering on tire size. I know that the z07 option in 94 had all 4 tires at 17x9.5 with 275/40/17. I was wondering if I could stick with 285/40/17 at all for corners or should I go with the 275/40/17 instead. Main issue would be tire rub on the front since the rear currently is running 285/40/17. Thanks in advance.

I am running 285/40s on the front, 315/35s on the back. No Problems.
(on 9.5 and 11 rims of course).

Do you have a ZR1 or the LT1.

Running the same setup on a lowered car. I may be going to 17x11 up front with 315's for autox.

The 285's are only a slight bit wider. A lot of us have 275's on the front and how often do any of us go to full lock?
