That hasn't been my experience maybe I'm confused. You can generally add 2 seconds to your 1000' time and come up with a 1/4 time. My drag car runs a 8.60's in the 1000' with an 1/8 mile time of 6.4 and at MoKan it ran a 10.47 in 1/4.
My one and only timed run to date with a sick car (bad prom) was:
60' @ 2.164
330' @ 5.754
1/8 @ 8.586 & 87.59 mph
1000' @ 10.995
1/4 @ 13.018 & 111.48 mph.
First off I cut 1.99/2.00 60' times all day long easily.
2nd, your MPH @1/8mi is lower than mine, as well as 4mph lower than Ezgoin721 who is running 13.0.
I'd say at best your cutting 13.20's.
On my best run:
nickd, I am not trying to be a jerk or anything. I just remember a guy with his LT4 posting his 1/4 mile time as 13.0 and I thought his 1/8 was an 8.5. I am trying to compare apples to apples. That is why I want someone with an LT4 to post (not that I don't appreicate the others :)). I got a 13.2 1/4 with a 8.6 1/8 with my 98 T/A M6. http://web.tampabay.rr.com/eac/ta/im...98timeslip.jpg
I feel that the Corvette is not as powerful as the T/A but on the other hand I am wondering if the Corvette may do better given the lighter weight and better aerodynamics that may show up in the 1/4.
Best time to date with the mods listed below was a 13.07 at 108.95. I don't know the 1/8th mile time though, and I know I wasn't far from 12's if I could have kept running when it cooled off.
I forgot you have an LT4, you are probably running a 12.9 with that 1/8 mile time. If it was only an LT-1, like I have, it would be a 13.2 - 13.3 1/4 mile.
This is with Runflats on. Only mods are K&N filter and MAT relocation. You should be close. I usually ran in the 13.3-13.4 area with the hardtop on and DR's on in the heat of summer. Looking for some improvement with the cooler weather. Good luck.
