SYS Flashing - fixed, thanks!
Hi all, I had the dreaded 'SYS' flashing on the dashboard display - it started a couple of weeks ago at the drags when I plugged my laptop into the ALDL connector. I thought I had damaged something.
I searched a few posts here, and after seeing a lot of people recommend changing the battery I decided to replace the battery (it seemed to be cranking slow lately, plus the dash dimmed slightly when the flashers were on).
One Duralast Gold, $69.99 from Autozone later - FIXED!!
Thanks all, I could have spent a lot of hours pulling my dash apart chasing connectors.
