John what was the weather last night? Must have been 45-50 here in NY, but i dont know what the bar or hum was. Plus it was windy as heck (help or hurt?). I was expecting you to run a little quicker in good weather, but maybe it wasn't as good as i thought. Nonetheless, 11.6s are pretty quick and you gotta be happy with that.

Re: Another new best (JD 90 383)
Thanks JD, There was a very, vety strong head win last night. All the open header guys were telling me their MPH as off by atleast 1mph.
I think that about as good as it going to go, my stock trans is about ready to go, It's started to slip bad between shifts, It been that way even before I did the top end. We got the line pressure all the way up and Julio only set the shift points at 6,600 because of it. It's slipping about 500 rpm between shifts. So no excuses, thats all apart of racing.
PS, i weighted the car last night, 3545. I need to go on a diet :yesnod: :yesnod:

Re: Another new best (ralph)
Ralph, weather was very good adj alt was around 0 ft.
but we had a LARGE head win. It may have hurt some but of all the real races there none were running near their best.
John, my computer will hit us for about a tenth for a 15mph head wind, however the only time i've run in a constant head wind was in Leb Val and it didn't seem to affect me at all, go figure?? I'll bet that it cost you at least a tenth, especially if others were running off their numbers. That makes more sense.
btw, my tranny will flare 500rpms on shifts as well. Always been like that, even after the rebuild. Although a 95K mile tranny in your car is a failure waiting to happen.
John, just read your tranny cooler post on the other thread. That sounds like fun. Maybe you should use my front spring....stiff as a board, no shocks required...LOL
