Default will these fuel injectors work?

BOSCH # 0 280 150 998

They are 22.5 lb at 43 psi fuel injectors for a Ford Mustang.
They are being sold for a nice price as new. My Vette is
a 1990 and in need of fuel injectors. Would this help my performance.
I know the Vette currently uses 21.5 lb fuel injectors.

Thanks in advance for your help

How do you know yours are bad? A larger injectors could hurt performance, because you have to much fuel. You can use the larger injector but may need tuning. I think the computer can correct for most of it but not at WOT.

Default inj

i think you would be ok to use those you might want to put a adj.fuel press. reg. on so you can adjust fuel pressure up or down to get inj. to work best

I used 24s on a stock tune, ran fine. Regulator would be a good idea though, most here like the Holley unit, its easy to adjust.

Two of my injectors are not firing consistently. I believe they
have never been changed and the time has come. An adjustable fuel regulator sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure how to adjust it
for its optimal performace and this computer is not the same as on the LT1 where programming is possible. Again, any suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks

An AFPR just has a **** you turn to set the pressure. To see the fuel pressure a gauge is hooked into the fuel rail. WOT fuel pressure is set by unplugging the regulator, then dialing in the pressure by watching the gauge. I have the Holly AFPR and needed to clearance the bottem of the plenum for it to fit. It's really pretty simple and the gauge plus AFPR aren't to expensive.

I have and know how to see the fuel pressure, although to know what the desired fuel pressure is for your vehicle is the tricky part. This is what I'm not sure how to find out. I'm thinking that these fuel injectors are designed with the specification at 43 psi therefore at 40 psi they should be closer to the factory 21.5 lbs recommended.

Measure your FP now, stock is 46 PSI if I remember right. With a larger injector, you may need less. To check, you can make WOT runs and read your plugs, dyno tune, or datalog.
