Now that I got your attention I just want to say hi to John and tell him that I wish him luck with his Vette. I hope you had fun last night. I couldn't get a good launch last night and only ran a 13.7 at 101. I was a little bit hot during the run, didn't have time to cool down enough, and my 60 ft times are still horrible(2.3 is the average). I got to get a set of tires, those beat up GSC's have had it. I also have a question for those who raced with a 6 speed car. When I shifted into second last night it felt like the car stopped moving forward for a sec then there was a bang and the car was going again. Is this caused by the tires spinning into gear then hooking up really fast? I got nervous after that. It feels like the car lost traction really bad during my shifts. I thought that the track was sorta sticky last night. Am I going crazy? I would like to race it at the next EFI race, but I won't until I hear something from someone about the banging during the gear changes. I don't power shift if you are wondering, I still let off the gas then get back into it, but this does happen very fast, so is it just tire spin? Thanks for any info on my situation, and traffic cones are cool...lol

WOW, YOU GOT MY ATTENTION!!!!!!! :yesnod:
Steve, it was greart meeting you last night. Your car does need drag radials. As far as the banging?? Could just be the Slop/play in the drive train. You should listen to my car from the inside, you start thinking yopu'll never make to the finish line.

Great video, but I thought that his car was red????
Well maybe it was the way the sunlight was reflecting of his car.....
Look forward to more attention getting posts from me, I guess this is my new job on the forum.
