What did you change in the bin? I was thinking of switching to a TBI IAT since my MAT is currently in my air cleaner.

Did modifications to the "inv MAT term lookup Delta mult vs Airflow" tabel in tunercat. As you change the location of the MAT/IAT from the plenum to a place that not soak so much heat. You "need" to change this this.
My car did run "ok" with the stock tabel, but im a perfectionist
So should I relocate the stock MAT sensor ,or convert to Lt1 IAT ??? or eliminate all together I'm starting to wish I went CARB At least it would be together by now
You must use it. Its used by the ECM to keep stoich during open loop operations. To keep it simple. Relocate your stock MAT, just extend the cabels and move to the aircleaner/TB.Then be done with it. Your car will work just fine this way. Then worrie about tuning the MAT/IAT tabel, if you feel the need for it. As I said abow, I used to run my car like that, with the lt1 intake and with no problemes. But as I tune the car myself I already hade the tools to change this from 80% good to 100% perfect.
No hijack intended here, just passing on some info. On page 75 of the Probst Corvette Fuel Injection book
"When the intake air temperature (IAT) is too cold, less than 5* C (40*F), it signals the computer to restrict EGR flow."
Also on the same page - "Through the computer, the IAT causes modifications of spark advance and enrichment, during acceleration."
Doesn't this lend credence to the MAT relocate mod? Injector pulse, distributer reference, O2 signals are used for closed loop. So cooler air would augment distributer reference, regardless of when it heats up in the cylinders, isn't this so?
