cigarette lighter assembly?
I have removed the shifter console plate on my 91 automatic for repainting. One has to disassemble the cigarette lighter to remove it from the plate. It comes apart by removing one nut on the rear which is on a long post. Problem for me was that it is held by only a few threads on the post and came apart more quickly than I anticipated spilling the end washers. I have all the parts, but one washer on the element side is dished and I can't figure out which way the dish is to face. Since this is part of the electrics, it probably makes a difference.
So, does anyone know where I can find an exploded diagram (can't find it in the FSM) or something similar to show me how the parts go back together?

I checked my manuals and don't have an exploded view. But if I remember correctly, usually dished washers act as lock washers. The dish provides tension on the nut so it won't vibrate off. That being said, put the high end of the washer (botton of the bowl) away from the surface and against the nut. Hope this helps
