Default Question about Beehive 918's on LT4 heads

I am getting ready to pull the trigger and buy either the Comp XFI 468, or 467. I plan on upgrading to the Beehive 918's and new retainers. Will these springs go right on the heads or do I need to buy a shim kit? I was thinking about buying the tool to check the install height anyway. If you can think of any other issues, please let me know.

I don't know if this helps, but if it were me I would call Comp Cams and have them work it out since you are buying their parts.

They will fit the stock spring seat. But, you may need to shim to achieve the correct installed height.

What about the factory studs? If I change them out wont I have to change the rockers as well, and run guide plates? Hardened push rods?

Or are the factory studs and Roller rockers good enough?

You can run the stock LT4 rockers and studs. But, they are non-adjustable and might be a bit noisy.
