Default 93 - Lower Ball Joints

I did a search on the forum and found out that the Lower Ball joints seem like a royal pain in the a$$ to replace. So here's the question. Is it only the two bolts holding the control arm on? (The ones at the end of the shaft?
Does it just pull out after removing these bolts? (If the top question is yes)

Default Lower ball joints

Its not that big a deal depending on what kind of tools you have. First put the car on jack stands and put a floor jack under the control arm. Jack it up until there's some pressure on the arm. Remove the nut from the ball joint. Using a pickle fork break the joint free from the steering knuckle. Unbolt the shock bracket from the arm. Slowly lower the floor jack. Remove the 2 bolts that go through the bushings and remove the arm. Now you need a ball joint tool or a press to remove the joint from the arm and install the new one. If you don't have these any machine shop can do this for for little $$. Pretty straight forward really

Have fun,Paul
