I think the engine will start and idle without the TPS, but it will set a code 22 (low TPS voltage ). TPS plugged in, the voltage on the dark blue wire should be less than 0.62 volts (it should be .54 v +/- .08 volts) throttle closed. Check that. If you have the same problem with a known good ECM, then I would suspect a VATS module that stops sending pulses to the ECM to allow pulsing the injectors when it gets warm. Try cooling the VATS module and see if it will start.
