Digital cluster repair

I need to send my cluster off for repair (88 Vette) and was trying to find out who the Forum suggests to do this. I have gone through the minor repair procedures with no luck so it's off to be fixed. You guys are always a wealth of knowledge so who ever you recommend I know i can trust. Thanks, Brian

My wealth of knowledge is this I sent mine to Southern Electronics ( do a search ) and $328 later it still works

What were the problems you were experiencing and do you remember the reapirs that were done.

When I started it up it looked like a Christmas tree --- then nothing.

Sometimes it looks like what ricekalla describes. Other times just nothing at all. Other times just frozen fragmented display. Other times it works fine and then goes out in stages. I've already resolderd the ground pin on the interconnecting board.
