Default need lt4 rocker arm torque spec please

I am changing valve springs at my dad's house and forgot my FSM. I do remember that when setting "lash" that it specified to torque the rocker nuts instead of the usual tighten untill the pushrod won't spin + 1/2 to 3/4 turn. can anyone look up the spec/procedure for me???? thanks so much

With the valve you are adjusting closed, and the cam lobe on the base circle, zero lash + 1/2-1 full turn is fine.
I normally go 3/4 turn.

I have never seem a torque spec listed on a gen 1 sbc.
Possibly you are thinking of the rocker stud torque?

Unlike the LT1 and other SBC engines, the LT4's rockers are not adjustable. I'll see if I can find your torque spec.

Here we go, 18 lb.-ft.
