Is there a way to adjust the brightness (dimness?) of the cluster? During the day it's fine, but when it gets dark, it dims down to the point the cluster is un-readable! Tried the search, and my manual doesn't mention this?
I should have mentioned that my light switch **** doesn't do zilch either! Could be that's my problem? I thought maybe there was a photo cell adjustment within the cluster somewhere...
I have absolutely NO interior lighting that works either, could be related?
Re: instrument cluster photo-cell (Buick From Hell)
Hi,
I had the same problem after installing an aftermarket stereo. One of the connections would blow the fuse. In my case, I just eliminated each one of the culprit connections until I found the right one. Don't know if this helps, but thought I'd mention it.
Interesting! I have a hole filled with assorted wires where an aftermarket stereo USED to be, and my A/C controls don't light up either. Time to check the ol' wiring diagram!
